Placote Espionage operation
Objective: Make inferences
Albert indulges in his favorite activity: spying on the people in his neighborhood! He hides and observes people without their knowledge, trying to understand what is happening to them. But now Gertrude, a neighbor in an unaccommodating mood, has unmasked the little spy! She is furious and threatens to go to the block party to warn everyone that the boy is spying on them! Help Albert spy on his neighbors and arrive on the scene before his angry neighbor in order to grab the microphone!
Espionage operation is designed to encourage children aged 3½ to 6½ to develop the ability to make inferences, i.e. to deduce information that is not explicitly provided in a situation. The child answers questions that relate, for example, to the problem, goal, action or emotion of a character in a given situation. He thus gets used to making inferences, a skill which will be particularly useful to him at school for understanding texts.
