Blankets, bedding and accessories made of minky are easy to care for and durable. We suggest washing your products in cold water and drying them at low temperature. They will keep their new look for a very long time.
Caution: For some obscure reason, very mild baby soaps (such as Ivory) appear to cause discoloration in very rare cases.
If you are using this type of soap, we recommend that you set the colors first, as follows:
To prevent color loss from your minky blanket:
1. Before the first wash only, concoct a mixture of half a cup of vinegar white, half a cup of salt and a liter of lukewarm water.
2. Soak your item (in a basin or directly in the washing machine) for 30 minutes.
4. Rinse with cold water, then dry.
5. Proceed with a normal wash.
