The original work If It Wasn't For Bees And Water by Pat Bruderer has been digitized to represent the art of bark biting. The lines represent the unique character of birch bark.
The art of bark biting creates unique pieces. The patterns are created with the help of teeth by biting on a thin layer of birch bark. The artist folds the layer of paper and uses his teeth to create a unique image. When the sheet is unfolded, the bark pattern appears symmetrical and original. Works of art are like humans: there is no one like them!
